Excursion Funnels are a part of an investigation into how well test subjects can solve problems while travelling through a churning funnel of liquid asbestos. Results so far have been highly informative. They cannot.

Showing the updated physics in portal, move items forward regardless of gravity. It is unknown whether the Funnel itself is made of liquid asbestos. It is possible that it is, as in Portal 2 gameplay, there is a "plop" when landing in a Funnel.
